Individually sealed isopropyl alcohol pads for wiping vial stoppers before access. This is the step most often skipped and the one that most often explains contamination: the rubber stopper is exposed to air from the moment the vial is unpacked, and every subsequent needle entry carries whatever is on that surface into the solution.
Wiping before each access, and letting the alcohol evaporate rather than pushing the needle through a wet stopper, is what keeps a multi-day working period viable. Each pad is sealed individually so the alcohol has not evaporated before use, which is the failure mode of bulk-packed pads.
Supplied sterile. Also included in every Complete Kit.
