DSIP is delta sleep-inducing peptide, a nonapeptide first isolated from cerebral venous blood during slow-wave sleep, which is where the name comes from. It is one of the more genuinely uncertain compounds in this catalogue and that is worth stating plainly: no specific receptor has been definitively identified, and the literature on its mechanism remains inconsistent.
Research interest persists because of its unusual origin and its reported effects on sleep architecture rather than because the pathway is settled. Supplied lyophilised per vial.
Store sealed at -20 C, reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, keep the working solution refrigerated and out of light. Related neuro-research peptides: selank, melatonin, epitalon.
See our lab reports for purity data. For laboratory research use only.
