Epitalon

Epitalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide derived from epithalamin, a pineal gland extract, and it is the most studied of the bioregulator peptides. Research attention focuses on telomerase activity and pineal function, with the underlying premise that a very short peptide can act at the level of gene expression rather than through a membrane receptor.

As with pinealon, much of the supporting literature originates from one research tradition, which is context worth having when evaluating it. Being only four residues, it is stable and straightforward to handle.

Supplied lyophilised per vial. Store sealed at -20 C, reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, refrigerate the working solution and protect it from light.
