Pinealon is a short synthetic tripeptide from the group of bioregulator peptides developed in Russian gerontology research, and it is studied on the premise that very short peptides can reach the cell nucleus and interact with DNA directly rather than through surface receptors. That proposed mechanism is distinctly different from anything else in this catalogue, and the supporting literature comes largely from a single research tradition, which is worth knowing when reading it.
